Sounds like fun! I'm fairly new to remixing so hopefully I can put together a good effort. Confused

I can't wait to hear some of the entries, Mega Man 2 is one of my favorite NES games!

The contest states something about 5 entries for each song. Does that mean 5 entries will be up for judgement or that 5 entries total for each song are accepted and any after those first 5 will be rejected?

Only 5 entries for each song will be accepted. You may submit an entry to multiple songs if you'd like, but once a song has 5 entries, that song becomes closed.

e.g. Once "Bubble Man Stage" has 5 entries, no more will be accepted for that song. You'd have to check http://gamersoundtracks.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?t=10&sid=6cf7d05e4ee1517ebf400f2852d6f673 to see what songs are still available to cover/remix.

I've remixed songs before, and I'm pretty good at it! I've even completed the Mega Man 2 Soundtrack, but it is MIDI Format. So all I need to do now is modify some of them and convert them. I can't wait to be a part of this contest!

That's great to hear! The best program probably for you to use is Fruity Loops, because they have all sorts of sounds you can add & it allows you to sequence midi's. http://www.flstudio.com/

Well, I've already modified most of my MIDIs and I am happy with how they sound. Thanks anyway.

Oh and BTW, I just submitted a whole soundtrack full of my Mega Man 2 MP3s, they all have the same subject name, but I assure you they are all different files and not spamming of the same file. Just to let you know.

People can do whatever they want as long as it offers some sort a variance to actual song. We're not real picky about how it's done.

Hey Nacho, I've been looking through the site, and it appears I am the only one who entered the contest. I know a few MIDI sequencers who make Mega Man 2 Fan Music. Could I tell them about the contest?

Hey Jimmy, sorry it took me 3 friggin' months to get back to you. Life took a different turn & I had to neglect the site for awhile.

Anyway, there have been quite a few submissions, it's just that they aren't posted on the site. MIDI's aren't accepted in the contest but I encourage if you have people that want to submit something, that they do it, even if it is for the contest or not! Smile
